There are plenty of Necron fans who may be paying this game no mind because they are seemingly absent. If they are not in the game upon release as a playable race, given that the assets will already be there, Ill be wildly dissapointed. That would be an amazing way to hide the fourth race in the game without doing the whole DLC route. Im fully expecting them to add it in as dlc, especially with sega and total warhammer adding multiple factions in a year, but maybe they wont. It is entirely possible we wont see another race for a year when they add it with an expansion. Im guessing they probably need more time to iron them out and figure them out before they push them through. The reason I dont think it will be in on release but at a laterĭate is that it seems like theyre putting a lot of work into making the races interesting.
